Jasmine Turkson: Woman found on the street with 2 kids gets complete transformation to glow

Jasmine Turkson, a woman who was found on the street at McCarthy Hills in Accra, has been given a complete makeover by local charity De-Graft Johnson Foundation.

The struggling woman who was found with two boys appeared quite unkempt when the charity captured them in photos.

De-Graft Johnson Foundation in a post on its Facebook page disclosed that Jasmine Turkson was transformed and given a bedazzling look.

Turkson who was also on the street because she was unable to provide shelter for herself was given an undisclosed amount.

''A transformation of Jasmine Turkson a lady we found on the streets of Mccarthy Hills in Accra. De-Graft Johnson Show listened to her and decided to give her a total makeover, some money for her upkeep, and a place later she can call home,'' the post read.

The charity appealed to the public to join them in to fight as they offer hope to the most vulnerable and afflicted in the world by donating to the foundation.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a 27-year-old orphan, Vera Eshun, has given a chilling account of how she became physically challenged.

The former student of Mampong Midwifery Training College explained that she suffered from Avascular Necrosis, a medical condition that compelled her to defer her course.

Speaking to Crime Check Ghana, Eshun disclosed that the unexpected demise of her father who passed away six months after a short sickness also affected her situation.

In other news, Tyrone Iras Marhguy, one of the students who was refused admission to Achimota School because of his dreadlocks has given a detailed account of the incident.

According to the teenager, when he arrived at Achimota School a mistress prevented him from submitting the items the school authorities asked first-year students to buy and submit.

In an interview with Citi TV, Marhguy disclosed that the mistress was blunt about her bias against his hairstyle as she told him she does not want to have anything to do with him because of his natural hair.
