Highlife singer Kuami Eugene pulled a big surprise on Hitz FM presenter Dr Pounds as he got married on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Dr Pounds, known in private life as Maximous Mensah, tied the knot with his fiancee in a beautiful wedding ceremony.
The wedding which came off in the Central regional capital of Cape Coast saw many Ghanaian stars in attendance.
But Eugene, the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, was not seen in any of the early videos that popped up from the wedding.
It was therefore a big surprise for wedding guests and even for Dr Pounds and his wife when the Dollar On You singer sprang from nowhere to perform.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Dr Pounds were seen walking hand-in-hand from a room onto the compound.
Kuami Eugene took the microphone, moved towards the couple and started singing Kwani Kwani Remix, a Tic Tac song he featured on.
Just when he got closer to Dr Pounds and his wife, the two got down to show some dance moves while members of the bridal train and groomsmen and other wedding goers joined them on the dancefloor.
While the couple danced, some people sprayed notes of cedis on them.
Meanwhile, Dr Pounds virtually shut Cape Coast down as he arrived at his wedding in a long convoy of posh vehicles.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Dr Pounds was seen driving in a convoy of cars numbering over 20 as he and his team moved to the wedding venue.
The convoy had loads of expensive cars including Porsche Cayenne, Toyota Land Cruiser, among many others in the queue.
