The good old days
Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that a Nigerian man, Ayo Ojeniyi, took people on a trip down memory lane after sharing a photo of a Beetle car that was sold for N3,908.40 in 1982.
Ojeniyi also shared the receipt of the car purchase and asked people what they could buy with such an amount of money today.
Reacting to the photo, a Facebook user identified as Aliyu Hamagam said the minimum wage in 1982 was N120, suggesting that a Beetle car was expensive back in the day.
