Taxi Driver Who Killed Girlfriend Of USPA Reveals He Was Broken-Hearted

Taxi driver reported to have stabbed his girlfriend, Jennifer (student of the University of Professional Studies, Accra - UPSA) to death has revealed he committed the crime of further attempting to commit suicide mainly because he could not stand the hurt of a heart-break.

Paul Evename who is currently being guarded by the police while in admission at the Alpha Medical Centre is noted to have told the police that he loved his girlfriend so much that he barely believed she would ever end the relationship with him.

Recounting what led to the crime of stabbing the UPSA student (his girlfriend), Paul confessed the problems emanated from a recent quarrel he had had with her over the phone - an instance which saw his deceased girlfriend demand to break up with him all because he, Paul, had used abusive words at her.

In the meantime, acting Madina District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr. Happy Michael Addae, said the police were waiting for the Paul to recover fully before they continue their investigations as he is currently been charged with murder and attempting to commit suicide.
