For a number of Ghanaian celebrities, their first love was quite different from what made them famous.
Take a look at six celebs who have tried their hands at both acting and music. Some were successful, while others were not so successful.
1. EL
Elorm Adablah, the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year also doubles as an actor, when he can make the time. He has featured in a number of Shirley Frimpong Manso movies, such as Potomanto, often playing characters related to laboratory sciences.

2. Mzbel
Popular singer Mzbel has been in the Ghanaian music industry for over a decade now and has quite a following. Did you know that a few years ago, Mzbel tried her hands at acting? She featured in a movie titled Single Six, which was quite a success.
3. Lilwin
It is common knowledge that Kumawood actor Lilwin has recently blossomed in a new venture, which happens to be music. The actor has released a number of songs and even a video for his ‘Choices’ remix.

4. Juliet Ibrahim
Actress Juliet Ibrahim actually tried to be a professional singer before, believe it or not. She released about 5 singles that have not done so well in terms of becoming hit songs.
5. Becca
The star singer has starred in a couple of movies, including If Tomorrow Never Comes, a movie produced by Yvonne Nelson.
6. Kobby Rana
Kobby is most popular for his music career with boy-group Rana. But he later decided to focus on acting and making movies, which is actually his taught occupation.
