A Ghanaian woman suffered a painfully bizarre death: she was bitten by a venomous snake… on her vagina. This sad, true story happened in a rural Krachi East area of this African country.

Eyii, who was 44 years old at the time of her death, was squatting in some bushes to poop, as she was returning home in the area around her farm.

Eyii was with her husband at the time, who said that he came rushing to help as she started screaming. She told him a snake had bitten her right in the clitoris.

The man thought the bite was a spiritual attack, so he decided to take her to a fetish priest for herbal treatment and spiritual mediation. The woman was not able to survive without proper treatment and died a few hours later.
