Dancehall star, Shatta Wale, has paid tribute to the late Captain Maxwell Mahama, the soldier who was mercilessly killed by a mob at Denkyira-Boase on Monday.
YEN.com.gh reported earlier that Captain Mahama was jogging on the dawn of Monday when some women from whom he had sought directions spotted him with a pistol and prompted the assembly man in the area that he was robber.
The assembly man, according to multiple media reports, quickly organised some youth in the town to beat Captain Mahama and burn him to death.
The death has been widely condemned by many Ghanaians, including President Nana Akufo-Addo and former presidents John Mahama and Jerry Rawlings.
Shatta Wale's prompt release of a song in tribute to the fallen soldier suggests that the killing has also affected him very badly.

In the song, the popular singer condemned the tendency of some Ghanaians to unleash what has been called "mob justice" on criminals or people suspected to be criminals.
Shatta Wale said he was deeply saddened by the killing and that it had left him in tears.
He called for justice for Captain Mahama and prayed for God's punishment for the perpetrators of the crime.
"Maxwell Adam Mahama, we are truly sorry ooh. Ghana is truly sorry ooh.
"Ghana, where is your love? Where is your love... If you have love in your heart, you no go do this," he sang.
