The “One Corner” song which has arguably become the most talked-about song in Ghana now and has come to be attributed to some form of ‘crazy’ dance has landed some students of the Islamic Senior High School (ISSEC) in Kumasi in serious trouble.

Some days ago, YEN.com.gh reported that the some 13 students of the school, comprising 9 ladies and 4 gentlemen had been ‘dragged’ to the school’s Disciplinary Committee for dancing to the song in class.
The video which landed the students into the ‘mess’ has been sighted by YEN.com.gh and there is no telling the students might get punished for the act.
When the video went viral, Citifmonline.com reported that the students in question had been summoned by the Disciplinary Committee after an invitation was extended to their parents informing them of their wards’ actions.

It was reported that the matter is still being discussed by the parties involved and the school authorities. News reaching us so far has indicated that the school authorities has forwarded the matter to the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate for further assistance.

The song which was sang by Patapaa has become a national sensation and many people have uploaded videos of themselves dancing to the song in quite bizarre fashion.
Some time back, YEN.com.gh reported that a young lady had lost her life after joining some merrymakers to dance to the song.
Recently, popular Man of God, Prophet Kumchacha indicated that he was making arrangements to go to court in order to seek an injunction to ban the “One Corner” song from being played. He argued that the song was ‘meaningless’ and bemoaned the rate at which a number of deaths had been recorded in relation to the song.

Many celebrities have joined in on the dance challenge which has come to be dubbed, “The One Corner” challenge. Notable among the celebrities to dance to the song are Abeiku Santana, Moesha Boduong and Yaw Dabo.
