According to the expert with the TikTok handle, @visa.sponsorship, the skills listed are in high demand and are lucrative in Canada, the United Kingdom and the USA.

Also included are skills such as driving, professional makeup, phone and laptop repairs, plumbing, electrical works, and child minding.

According to Indeed, plumbers earn N23,000 (GH₵308) per hour in Canada. In the UK, they earn N22,000 (GH₵295) per hour, and in the USA, they take home N25,000 (GH₵335) every hour.

Checks also show that electricians earn N25,000 (GH₵335) per hour in the USA, N23,000 (GH₵308) in Canada and N24,000 (GH₵321) in the UK.

Commenting on the story, Dr Olumuyiwa Igbalajobi, a scholarship expert who also lives and works in Canada, confirms that technicians such as electricians and plumbers could earn a lot in Canada.

His words:

"We recently hired a guy for my office door. He charged us $65 per hour. There aren't a lot of people into that."
