Political activist Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, attended the swearing-in ceremony of Ghana's new ambassador to the US, Victor Emmanuel Smith, on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

The presidency held a ceremony at the Jubilee House in Accra to officially commission eighteen newly appointed envoys of Ghana under the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

Among the eighteen prominent personalities was Victor Emmanuel Smith, who was sworn in by President John Dramani Mahama at the indoor event.

The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson (MP), Special aide to the president, Joyce Bawah Mogtari and National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osuman Nuhu Sharubutu were present at the ceremony.

Appiah Stadium compares Victor to Donald Trump

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Victor Emmanuel Smith celebrated his new political appointment with his family and friends.

In a video shared by Appiah Stadium on his official TikTok page, the new Ambassador to the US beamed with excitement as he, his beautiful wife and a few individuals, including the National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, gathered for a group photo session at the premises of the Jubilee House.

Appiah, who flew from Kumasi to Accra for the ceremony, compared Victor Emmanuel Smith to the American President Donald Trump.

He claimed that the prominent politician bore some resemblance to the American president.

Victor Emmanuel Smith later jokingly cautioned the staunch NDC supporter as he claimed that he was more handsome than President Donald Trump.

In a video, the political activist insulted the Public Relations Officer while watching her interview with Serwaa Amihere on GHOne TV.

Appiah Stadium accused Sarah Danquah of being a disrespectful woman who did not know how to talk properly in public. He also advised her to change her behaviour.

Appiah weeps during encounter with pregnant woman

In another story reported by YEN.com.gh, Appiah Stadium wept during an encounter with a pregnant woman at Sikaman-Brofoyedu.

In a video, the political activist was overcome with emotions as he responded to criticisms against President John Dramani Mahama.

Appiah Stadium also offered support for the pregnant woman and vowed to transform her life.
