Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Brother Adu Patrick, popularly known as Na True Music, has courted attention after resurfacing in Canada, years after relocating from Ghana.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the singer beamed with excitement as he met a Ghanaian fan on the street.
Brother Adu Patrick performed some of his classic songs as he recorded the video with the fan during their encounter. He also engaged in a friendly conversation with the fan and reminisced about his time in Ghana many years ago.
The fan shared that he had been looking for the gospel singer's whereabouts and praised him for his music. He gave a glimpse of his life abroad, showing off a white Ford Super Duty truck parked by the roadside.
Brother Adu Patrick's vehicle had been configured as a tow truck and service vehicle, which he used as his source of employment.

Adu Patrick's life in Ghana and relocation
Brother Adu Patrick rose to prominence in the 2000s as a singer in the Ghanaian gospel music industry. He was featured on the late Brother Philip's Momma Yenko Gya Me song.
The singer later ventured into the Kumawood industry as a composer of most of their movie soundtracks. He worked alongside Lil Win, Akrobeto, Kwaku Manu, the late Bishop Bernard Nyarko, Nana Ama McBrown and other top Kumawood stars.

Brother Adu Patrick's catchy melodies and unique voice made him a popular figure among Ghanaian movie lovers.
The gospel singer relocated to the US from Ghana and tied the knot with his partner, Carmelina Opoku, in a private ceremony on Saturday, July 30, 2016. His colleague Joyce Blessing was also present at the ceremony.
In a 2024 interview, Brother Adu Patrick opened up about his decision to leave the music industry and move overseas.
In an interview with SVTV Africa, he stated that he opted to relocate abroad in search of greener pastures.
The gospel musician spoke about his life abroad as a truck driver, stating that he had achieved a lot more in six years in Canada compared to his time in Ghana.
