The founder of Parliament Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, has gained attention following the latest health alert by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the emergence of hantavirus.

This comes after he foretold disasters and occurrences that would take place in 2026.

A viral video, which has resurfaced, shows the respected man clad in a white dress preaching to his congregants, where he prophesied about the emergence of another virus.

He was emphatic in his prophetic declaration as he stated that the virus would emerge before the close of 2026.

He therefore admonished members of his church to be very prayerful and urged them to take health measures seriously.

All you need to know about hantavirus

The Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, in a media briefing on Thursday, May 7, made startling disclosures about the hantavirus, disclosing that it was detected aboard a ship heading from Argentina to Cape Verde.

According to him, passengers from 12 countries were aboard, with eight cases, including three deaths, confirmed.

The World Health Organisation has disclosed that symptoms of the virus include fever, headache, muscle pain, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain.

It has also pledged its resolve to ensure that hantavirus does not spread to other parts of the world.

At the time of writing this report, the video showing Apostle Amoako Attah’s prediction had generated a lot of reactions.

Reactions to Amoako Attah's virus prophecy

Ghanaians who took to the comment section of the video have meanwhile expressed concern about the virus, with many wondering if this could lead to another worldwide lockdown.

Prophet Yaw Sarpong stated:

"That's my father, the Global Seer."

Play Rugby League Ghana added:

"Thank you, sir, for the courage you gather to always allow yourself to be used by God to inform, guide and direct the nation."

Yaw Dwarkwaa stated:

"Dear Lord, have mercy on us. The world lost millions of people to the coronavirus pandemic and we cannot afford to face that again, especially in this year."

User6768321247411 stated:

"Did you not prophesy last year that Japan would be experiencing an earthquake? If you did, then which people thought there would be an earthquake? Are you making a forecast or a prophecy?"

Pastor shares end-times prophecy

In a related development, YEN.com.gh reported that a Ghanaian preacher had dropped a prophecy about when the world reportedly would end.

Speaking in a video, the man of God noted that the end of the world would come in 2028 and that no one would live beyond that year.

People who saw the video reacted with mixed feelings, with some believing him due to current events.
