Cleansing ceremony through goat slaughter

She could not hold back her tears as she noted the trauma and opposition she went through after the emotional moments.

Margaret Wamaitha noted many people labelled her many names, and others claimed she had a cloud of bad omen hanging on her head.

"People said I was cursed. Others told me to get old people and a goat so that they could slaughter it and cleanse me," she told YEN.com.gh.

Facing opposition from the church

The woman from Nairobi added that some ill-advised her to see a witch doctor who could help with her situation.

The mother of one not only had it rough with society, but as she said, even in the church, she faced opposition.

"Pastors would use my story against me, claiming I was stubborn, which was why God was taking away my kids. Others dared to tell me I was sacrificing my kids," she said while tears freely flowed down her cheeks.

Not planning for more kids

Wamaitha shared that she was in a hopeless situation as it was not her fault when losing her babies.

Out of seven kids, only one survived, a vibrant and strong girl she named Precious, whom she said was a pillar to her.

She observed after losing her seventh born; she closed the chapter for trying to have any more kids.
