Mum Slams Lecturer For Proposing To Student, Gives Reason: "It Is Unprofessional"

Ada Ujaligwa, a Nigerian mum, has criticised Anucha Wisdom, the viral ABSU lecturer, for engaging a student in a classroom.

Recall Wisdom recently pulled a surprise proposal on a student before her colleagues and became a viral sensation.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Ada stated that Wisdom would have lost his job if such was done at a university outside the country.

According to her, codes of conduct must be respected, and Wisdom's actions were foolish and unprofessional.

She wrote:

"If that lecturer displayed that kind of f 00 l1sh behaviour in a University abroad, he will lose his job instantly.
"You must respect professional codes of conduct and it is most unprofessional to be proposing to a student in a class filled with other students."

Reacting to criticisms that trailed his proposal, the lecturer said she was not his direct student. In his words:

"She’s not really my student so to say. I’m in Education, while she’s in Optometry."

University student proposing to pretty lecturer in public

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh previously reported that a university student sent social media into a frenzy after a video of him reportedly proposing to his lecturer went viral.

The video, sighted by YEN.com.gh on TikTok, showed a beautiful moment where the student kneeled, presenting the pretty lecturer with flowers.

The lecturer, who never anticipated such a move, placed her head in her hands in clear astonishment at what the student had done.
