Ronaldo sent off as Juventus record controversial 2-0 win over Valencia

Juventus started their Champions League campaign on a controversial note but recorded a 2-0 win over Valencia at the Mestalla.
The competition's most decorated figure Cristiano Ronaldo was giving his marching orders for an off the ball incident with Jeison Murillo as Juve striker broke in tears.
The referee's assistant spotted what happened as German official Felix Brych brandish a red card to the Portuguese ace just after 30 minutes.

Sami Khedira was earlier substituted in the 23rd minute for fellow German international Emre Can because of a suspected thigh injury.
But the Biaconeri had the breakthrough moments before half time as Daniel Parejo fouled Joao Cancelo in the box and Miralem Pjanic opened the scoring from the spot to make it 1-0.
Six minutes after the restart Murillo who responsible for Ronaldo's sending off was adjudged to have brought down Leonardo Bonucci in the box for another penalty as Pjanic scored again to make it 2-0.
Valencia could not take advantage of the 10-man Juventus side as the Italian champions were resolute in defence.
Parejo missed a consolation penalty in the 90th minute as Wojciech Szczesny went the right way and got a hand to it.

Meanwhile, in the other Group H match, Manchester United coasted to a 3-0 victory over Swiss side Young Boys.
Paul Pogba scored a brilliant first goal and made it two a minute before half time from a penalty kick. Anthony Martial rounded off scoring to put United top of the group.
