Lamine Yamal pulled off a sensational nutmeg during Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday, September 28.
The 18-year-old made an immediate impact on his return to the squad, coming from the bench before the hour mark to provide the assist for Robert Lewandowski’s second-half winner.

Despite Barcelona’s early dominance, Real Sociedad struck first against the run of play when Gonçalo Guedes whipped in a curling ball to Mikel Oyarzabal, who slipped a pass to Ander Barrenetxea.
The winger then fired a low ball across the box, allowing Álvaro Odriozola to slot home with a simple tap-in.
Barcelona drew level just two minutes before half-time when Jules Koundé powered home a precise header from Marcus Rashford’s perfectly delivered corner.
Yamal then came on and linked up with Dani Olmo on the left before whipping in a superb cross that Robert Lewandowski buried with a towering header.

The teenager’s assist wasn’t his only highlight of the night, as one dazzling moment of skill soon went viral on social media.
In the clip, the Spanish starlet effortlessly toyed with a Real Sociedad defender before humiliating him with a cheeky nutmeg that had fans raving online.

Lamine Yamal, who lost the 2025 Ballon d'Or to Ousmane Dembele, had a special moment with the fans before Barcelona's game against Real Sociedad at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys when he showed off the Kopa Trophy.
The youngster made history last Monday when he became the first player to retain the award, given to the best U21 player in the world by France Football.
With a 2-1 win on Sunday, Barcelona overtook rivals Real Madrid to occupy the top spot after Los Blancos suffered a 5-2 loss against Atletico Madrid a day before.
The Catalan giants will now shift their focus to Europe as they are all set to host defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in a crucial Champions League fixture on Wednesday.
