The Chief of Defence Forces was involved in a chopper crash on Thursday, April 18, in Elgeyo Marakwet county.

2. Francis and Aieleen Ogolla, prayerful couple
Ogolla hosted an elaborate thanksgiving service at the Saint Michael’s Cathedral at the Defence Headquarters, Nairobi, presided over by the Archbishop of the Anglican Church, His Grace Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, on May 7, 2023.
The thanksgiving was graced by his spouse, family, friends and colleagues.
Ogolla wore a blue suit, white shirt and a dotted blue and white tie. Aileen, on the other hand, donned a colourful kitenge dress.
The lovebirds were spotted deep in prayer as the bishop prayed for them during the event.
3. Francis Ogolla and his wife extend a hand of compassion
On December 26, 2023, during boxing day, Ogoalla and his wife visited KDF troops at the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital and Defence Wellness Centre in Nairobi.
The couple gifts the sick flowers and fruits, wishing them a quick recovery.
