Vice President Dr Bawumia, Samira spotted in London on their way to Ghana

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been spotted in new photos as he embarked on his journey back home.

Dr Bawumia is returning to Ghana today after almost two weeks in London where he has been on medical leave.

According to a statement signed by Director of Comunications at the Presidency, Eugene Mr Arhin, the vice president will be met at the airport by President Nana Akufo-Addo and his wife, Rebecca.

The Vice President was flown out on Friday, January 19 upon the advice of his doctors after he fell ill after reporting to work.

There has been a lot of controversy since Dr Bawumia left.

Until last Saturday when photos and videos of him and his wife, Samira surfaced online, rumours had been rife that he suffered a stroke.

The Minority in Parliament had been on the neck of government to disclose the full details of the health condition of the Vice President.

In a Facebook post, Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong has shared pictures of himelf meeting Dr Bawumia and Samira as they readied for their journey back.

And acording to him, the Vice President was in good health.

"Just saw the Vice President off. Ghana here he comes! Good Health, Great Strength, Good Job!!", the Abetifi MP captioned the photos.
