Ebony, RuffTown label worth more than $100,000 – Bullet

- The CEO of RuffTown Records, Bullet is not happy with Zylofon boss, Nana Appiah Mensah

- Bullet says the CEO was 'persuading' Ebony with a paltry $100,000 package to join his label

The Chief Executive of RuffTown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang, widely known as Bullet, has disclosed that his late artiste, Ebony Reigns was being 'enticed' with money by Zylofon Media.

According to Bullet, Ebony was not under any form of intimidation or bondage to have needed a bailout from the Zylofon Media boss, Nana Appiah Mensah.

Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM on Monday, Bullet insisted that the supposed bailout amount being quoted by the CEO of Zylofon Media was a total insult to Ebony’s brand and his record label.

The RuffTown boss who was clearly not happy about Nana Appiah’s $100,000 bailout package to Ebony, stressed that his $100,000 offer was only worth the price of his partners wrist watch.

Bullet in his conversation maintained that, Ebony was worth more than $100k, and it was unfortunate for someone like the Zylofon CEO to think that he could persuade Ebony with such a puny amount.

Bullet interacting with Abeiku Santana revealed that, international music icon, Akon had already expressed interest in signing Ebony, and they were almost through with a more than $100,000 juicy deal for the artiste.

“Ebony was not in bondage. She was an artiste who I can say was even dictating to management. She wasn’t under any strict management. Contracts have clauses in them but if she wanted a bailout, due to the relationship that existed between us, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Perhaps someone tried to persuade her with an amount,” he said.

Bullet who was clearly angry, fired at Zylofon Media boss, “The amount invested in Ebony and her brand was even more than $100,000. How much is $100,000? Is Ebony worth $100,000? The biggest artiste in Ghana now, $100,000 is the price of Gatdoe’s watch. That is not money. To respect her value as an artiste, you shouldn’t even mention $100,000. I don’t get it. Bail out in which way?”

RuffTown’s reigning dancehall artiste, Ebony met her untimely death on Thursday, February 8, in a gory accident on Sunyani-Kumasi highway, after returning from a private trip.

The accident claimed the life of the talented singer, together with her private body guard, and another close friend, Franky Kuri.

However, the Zylofon Media boss has come under intense public pressure after revealing a confidential meeting between him and the late Ebony in a twitter tribute.

In his tweet, Nana Appiah disclosed that Ebony had called on him on several occasions, begging him to ‘free her’ in a $100,000 bailout deal with Bullet.
