Shatta Wale speaks after winning only one award at the 2018 VGMAs

One of Ghana's favourite artistes and self-proclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale, has finally spoken few hours after the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ended.

Shatta Wale won only one award at the event which is the Best Collaboration of the year. He posted on his Facebook page congratulating all the winners.

Shatta Wale was tipped by his fans to even win artiste of the year as the artiste gave hints on social media hours before the event.

The 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came off in grand style at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) , Saturday April 14.

The event which was the 19th edition of the award scheme was under the theme, “Our Music Beyond Borders.”

Recognised as the biggest night in Ghana's music industry, the night awarded musicians who have excelled in their careers over the past year.

The award ceremony also saw the attendance of several personalities in the entertainment industry in Ghana and Africa.
