Fans mock Ebony’s replacement as she steps on VGMAs red carpet
Some social media users have descended on the alleged musician, Wendy Shay, who is said to be a replacement for the late dancehall artiste, Ebony after her first red carpet appearance at the VGMAs.
According to some social media fans, they doubt if the young artiste could be at par with the legacy Ebony left behind during her short stint in the Ghana music industry.

The CEO of Rufftown records, Ricky Osei Agyemang, aka Bullet, recently showcased a new female artiste after the sad demise of talented dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns.
After the final funeral rites of Ebony, the RuffTown Records boss in a Facebook post updated a photo of Wendy with the caption, “Wendy Shay…. anticipate Rufftown to the world…”
But Bullet’s post was swiftly met by a question from one of Ebony’s fans, if Wendy was going to replace the ‘Great Ebony’.
However, Bullet in his response simply said, “her name is Wendy Shay, beauty with talent, versatile and different.”

Some fans who were not pleased with Bullet’s answer ended the debate through series of posts expressing doubts if Wendy could filled Ebony’s shoes in terms of pure talent.
However, Ebony’’s fans appear to have launched fresh attacks on Wendy after the artiste made her first public appearance on Saturday at the VGMAs red carpet.
Wendy who was spotted on the red carpet in a trendy outfit, appeared to being showing her backside to her fans during a photo shoot.
But Wendy after her red carpet appearance went viral on various social media platforms as she was attacked and mocked by Ebony’s fans.
While some jab her for punching herself to fame by showing her backside on the red carpet, others have expressed little hope in her talent as portrayed by the RuffTown Records boss.
