Patapaa didn’t come for his measurement to be taken – Patapaa's Oldman tailor reveals

- Patapaa said it was a management idea for him to wear such an attire
- But an old man tailor reportedly responsible for Patapaa’s clothe said Patapaa did not come for his measurement to be taken
YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of the tailor reportedly responsible for Patapaa’s over-sized suit.
The video was sighted on the Facebook page of Kasapa FM.
Interestingly, Patapaa’s tailor is an old man, and obviously, he has been designing clothes for people for many years now.

Therefore, it could be said that Patapaa is not his first and last client.
The old man, who could be best described as ‘Agya’, meaning father, revealed why Patapaa wore the over-sized suit.
According to Agya, Patapaa did not have time to come for him to take his measurement before going ahead to make his suit.

In his own words, Patapaa was “going here today, going there tomorrow”, therefore, he just could not make the time to see the tailor for his measurement purpose.
He revealed further that he was not around when Patapaa came to take his ready clothes away.
Agya explained that he left the suit with one of the children around to be given to Patapaa in his (tailor’s) absence.

According to Agya, if he had been around when Patapaa came for his suit, he would have seen to it that everything “was ok”.
However, Patapaa was forced to wear the suit that way because there was no time left to make any alterations.
Agya’s revelation seems to counter Patapaa’s earlier claims that it was a management decision and brand strategy for him to wear the over-sized suit to the VGMAs.
Photos of him in the suit are still trending on social media, and the fact that he didn’t win the much anticipated ‘Most popular song of the year’ award alone has led to many people trolling him.
