Ibrah 1's passport seized after his arrest

The passport of young millionaire, Ibrah One has been seized following his arrest by officials of the Ghana Police Service and Interpol on Wednesday, YEN.com.gh can report.

Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that Ibrah's passport was seized following an attempt by the young man to flee to South Africa.

Ibrah 1, a 32-year-old man known for his lavish lifestyle on social media, was arrested at his East Legon residence over a money laundering investigation going on in the US.

According to close sources, Ibrah attempted to flee when he got wind of his impending arrest and was prevented from leaving the country at the airport.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Ibrah had been 'sold out' by a close associate and the Interpol had been watching him for months now.

The close associate, only identified by his Snapchat handle, Heloo_Stephen, is said to have gotten angry after Ibrah cheated him of the proceeds of a $1.2m scam deal they did together.

Ibrah's partner who is said to have informed on him in exchange for an immunity from prosecution has 'confirmed' Ibrah's attempt to flee.

He posted photos of the supposed flight ticket Ibrah attempted to flee with.

And he mocked Ibrah for buying an Economy class ticket.
