Comedian and actor, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, has reacted to claims that he is gay and practicing it with Togolese international footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor.
The actor rubbished the claims as he revealed that he was set to get married and was going to introduce his wife-to-be to the world soon.
YEN.com.gh sighted a video on the Instagram page of the actor as he received a birthday cake from Cowbell Ghana Limited.
He captioned it, "Massive thanks goes GOD ALMIGHTY and to my hommie @e_adebayor .. and @cowbellghana for making my birthday a blast yesterday.
"Secondly to my sweet and wonderful fans .. u ppl got me emotional.. to everybody who posted my picture and wished me .. I trully love u and appreciate u all.
"Now get ready to meet the Children First Lady .. my fiancée.. will post her picture soon."
The comedian, after appreciating his bosom friend Emmanuel Adebayor, slammed the gay rumors with a hint of his impending wedding.
After receiving a surprise birthday present from Adebayor, Funny Face was spotted in a video showing his appreciation to Togolese star for his kindness.
In a video spotted by YEN.com.gh, the 'Chokor Trotro' actor was seen in an emotional mood as he knelt down and gave praise to God for his 'excess love'.
To his bosom friend and Togolese football star Adebayor, Funny Face is noted to have said that his blessings were going to be "unstoppable."
The caption that came with the video read, "The comic actor who is celebrating his birthday today, has shared this video from his living room thanking God for adding another year to his life.
He expressed his gratitude with these few words ... "Thank you all people .. the love .. shown to me today makes me soo emotional .. I love u all my fans .. as for @e_adebayor ur blessing is unstoppable bro .. God bless u bro," the post continued.
To mark the birthday of the Ghanaian comedian, former Arsenal striker, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor, gave him a blank cheque and shopping voucher at Hisense Electronics.
In an Instagram post, the famed footballer wished his friend Funny Face happy birthday and also wrote that he had given him a blank cheque to withdraw any amount he wished from his Access Bank account.
He also asked Funny Face to visit any Hisense shop in Accra and pick gadget of his choice.
The pair have been friends for almost ten years. In 2012, Adebayor bought Funny Face a customized Range Rover.
The two friends have been expressing their love and appreciation for each other on social media.
