This is real rap - Pope Skinny says as Sarkodie 'disses' Shatta Wale in new song
Rapper Pope Skinny who is known to be a right hand man of Shatta Wale has raised eyebrows on social media with his reaction to Sarkodie's latest release which is believed to be an attack on his friend.
As earlier published by YEN.com.gh, Ghana’s ‘Highest’ rapper Sarkodie, has released a 'diss' track titled “Advice” in which he doled out loads of insults as Shatta Wale.
Calling Shatta Wale names, Sarkodie stated that though he boasts of riches, Shatta was actually poor.
The award-winning rapper further described Shatta Wale as a fool who is always making noise about money even though his bank balance cannot buy a brand new car.
The song has been trending like wildfire since Sarkodie dropped the video on social media on Wednesday with many hailing him on social media.

As the right-hand man of Shatta Wale, one would have thought that Pope Skinny would be infuriated by the release and also attack Sarkodie.
But Pope Skinny has rather applauded Sarkodie describing his song as "real rap".
“King Sark, this is real rap,” Pope Skinny posted on Twitter.
While Pope Skinny's response may seem harmless and matured, it has not really gone down well some Shatta Wale fans who have accused him of being a 'sell out', a term often used to describe selfish and fair-weather friends.

But there were many others who defended Pope Skinny saying it was about time Shatta Wale changed direction.
Meanwhile, Pope Skinny is not the only Ghanaian musician or celebrity to have applauded Sarkodie over his 'knock out' track.
Many celebrities including two of Shatta Wale's colleagues at Zylofon Media have all heaped praises on the rapper after the song was released.
