Suspect reveals why he killed Assemblies of God pastor in Tema (video)

The man suspected to be the killer of the head pastor of the Central Assemblies of God Church at Tema Community Four, Rev Dr David Nabegmado, has spoken in a video chanced upon by YEN.com.gh.

The amateur video on YouTube shows the suspect clad in a blood-soaked attire. Adomonline.com reports that he was shot before being transported by police officers to an unknown destination.

The suspect has since been identified as Francis Nabegmado.

In the video, Nabegmado alleged that he committed the dastardly act because his uncle, the deceased, was in his words, "killing people in his family every two days". He added that the pastor was a "ritualist".

The suspect allegedly accosted and stabbed him multiple times a few hours before he was due to deliver a sermon to his congregation.

YEN.com.gh reported that on Sunday, December 30, 2018 as Head Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church, Tema Community 4 branch was stabbed to death in church.

Information confirmed by YEN.com.gh had it that the head Pastor; Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado was attacked while about leaving his inner office to the main auditorium to preach as service was already on-going.

Rev. Nabegmado could not make it out to the auditorium, and all the congregagnts heard in the church auditorium was wailing from their head Pastor.

Tema police have indicated that investigations have proceeded with the case. They are looking to establish why the younger Nabegmado took the drastic action, not dismissing the fact of mental instability.
