Kingsmen of the vice president of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, have responded to a prophecy of his death in the year 2019.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, they stated that Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah’s prophecy of his death will not come to pass.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the man of God prophesied the deaths of some popular Ghanaians in 2019.

He is reported to have stated that vice president Bawumia, former presidents Kufuor and Mahama and the Chief Imam, Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharabutu, may lose their lives in the year 2019.

In a sharp response to his prophecies, Dr. Bawumia’s family stated that their son fears Allah, and not death.

For that reason, they went on, even if Owusu Bempah’s claims are true, they will not come to pass.

A sub-chief from the Walewale traditional area, who spoke for the group, maintained that Dr Bawumia is a royal in the Mamprugu kingdom and a devout Muslim who believes in and fears only Allah, not death, and therefore is committed to only Allah’s teachings and directives.

He added that the pastors who have predicted the death of their brother and son should rather focus on protecting themselves from death.

This, he said, is because their family has seen several deaths and have embraced it wholeheartedly as committed Muslims, warning that the ‘death prophets’ stand the chance to die first.
