Amount of money top celebs allegedly invested into Menzgold pops up
YEN.com.gh has come across a list reportedly revealing the amount Ghanaian celebs ,Yvonne Nelson, Tracey Boakye, A-Plus and Queci Oteng invested in embattled gold dealership firm, Menzgold.
In what looked like a WhatsApp message posted on the Instagram page of political commentator; Kwame A-plus, a phone number with the name Togbe was given as the one who supposedly wrote it.

In the message, Togbe seem to be trolling A-plus that with all the wisdom A-plus thinks he has, NAM 1 scammed him.
After trolling the musician turned politician Kwame A-plus, Togbe listed four names of celebrities including A-plus and the amount of money they allegedly invested according to his sources.
In response to the allegation by Togbe, A-plus who is the former Secretary to the CEO of Korle-Bu wrote "If I get 2.000.000 Ghana cedis paaa like a no go invest for Menzgold. Like a go buy Nam1 himself and his future generation!!!"

Instagram users who saw the post by Kwame A-plus had this to write in comments:

@dicksonjolivette: "No wise person will fall in this scheme. I was laughing when I heard of menzgold and his Ponzi scheme. We need to enlighten our people. Am sorry for those who lost their money but come on it was too sweet of deal"
@kwesi_enzo: "Chaley but like joke like joke my friend be invested 40,000 pounds sterling and gave his dad 10, 000 pounds sterling as well to invest.. They only got their one month 10% and that was it....hmmmmmmmmm I pray there is end to this sight ...very sad"

As it stands now, YEN.com.gh will consider Togbe's message as an allegation until proven otherwise meanwhile information reveals that a lot of Ghanaian celebrities have invested in the embattled Menzgold.
