The invitation to by the CID follows alleged threats on Azure’s life following the release of an investigative documentary titled ‘Militia in the Heart of the City,’ on March 7, 2019.

The documentary suggested that a militia was being trained at the Osu Castle, a situation the government was aware of.

The government has meanwhile denied knowledge of the existence of such a group and has explained that persons captured in the documentary, were actually job seekers.
