Bahraini millionaire, Yaqoob Yusuf Ahmed, has promised to help build a house for a young boy who used to do his take-home assignments under a street light.
A little boy, Victor Martin Angulo, captured internet attention after his perseverance saw him doing an assignment at the corner of a street owing to lack of electricity in his house.
According to news site Tubarco, the boy from Peru will now live in a two storey house and school in a well equipped learning facility.
All of this is thanks to a Bahraini millionaire, Yaqoob Yusuf Ahmed.
Ahmed, according to reports, promised to fund the refurbishment of the pupil's home and repair the school he learns in.
The businessman confessed to having a rough childhood as well, and has already restored electricity to the 12-year-old boy's house.
Completely overwhelmed, the young boy continuously thanked the kind millionaire for giving him a chance to learn in a proper school.
"Thank you for the help you are offering, thank you very much because you are helping us to build our school," Victor was quoted as saying.
The boy's mother was also grateful to Ahmed for travelling all the way to Peru just to visit them and help repair their family home.
"I thank the people who want to do this for me (build my house). I thank them very much that they have had that kindness and they have given time to come to my humble home, because not anyone does does this," she said.
