Ablakwa pays final mock fees for 1,920 BECE candidates
Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has paid final mock fees for all 1,920 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in his constituency.
He also provided mathematical sets as well as free transportation for the candidates at Mepe in the Volta Region.
In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, he said he also donated graph boards and other items to schools within his jurisdiction.

“I also donated graph boards for all 50 Junior High Schools and made a special presentation of laptop computers to the nine top performing schools over the last three BECEs who secured an average of 80% to 98% in an effort to motivate other schools to follow suit,” he wrote on Facebook.
This year, the Basic Education Certificate Examinations is scheduled to take place from June 10 to 14, 2019
The Ghana Education Service (GES) in February revised the date for the BECE for school candidates.
