Female musicians are 'too busy' to have children - Eazzy reveals on BBC

- Ghanaian Afrobeat musician, Eazzy, has accentuated some of the challenges facing female artistes in the music industry

- Eazzy indicated that women in the Ghanaian music scene have a tough time being accepted in the industry

- She also explained that female musicians find it difficult to decide when to have babies because it would compel them to take a career break

Ghanaian musician, Mildred Ashong, famed as Eazzy, has highlighted some of the challenges female Ghanaian musicians face in an interview she granted the BBC.

According to the “Wengeze” singer, women on the Ghanaian music scene already find it tough to get accepted in the industry and after their breakthrough, it becomes a tougher burden of how to keep the relevance.

Eazzy explained that the challenge goes as far to make it difficult for female musicians to decide when to have babies because pregnancy, will surely force them to go on a break from their career, which they might not be ready for.

In the interview, the Ghanaian musician also spoke about her career so far from her first song to her latest SOLO E.P, which she released some few months ago.

Meanwhile, a British teenager has made global headlines after he won almost GHc 6.7m (£1m) for finishing second in one of the finals at the Fortnite World Cup.

Jaden Ashman, 15, who goes by the gamer name Wolfiez, will split the $2.25m (£1.8m) win with his Dutch gaming partner Dave “Rojo” Jong.
