Former journalist of Joy News known for his investigative reportage, Manasseh Azure Awuni is set to release an investigative piece that highlights the breaches of procurement processes in the award of road contracts.

The documentary entitled ‘Contracts for sale’ is expected to expose government appointees who engage in the activities of taking bribes before awarding contracts to companies.

YEN.com.gh however sighted a video teaser that has gone viral on social media, capturing some officials of the Roads and Highways Ministry receiving big envelopes containing what is suspected to be cash in exchange for contract documents.

This new expose by Manasseh Azure Awuni is expected to expose more corrupt officials who through their secret operations are hindering Akufo-Addo's administration in the fight against corruption.

The documentary after ‘Millitia in the heart of the city’, a documentary that placed a spotlight on the activities of a group of persons using the Osu castle as a training grounds for private security personnel.

It is not known when the banger would be aired but available information suggest it would be aired on Joy News soon.

In other news, former president John Dramani Mahama has clarified that he does not intend to scrap the Free Senior High School (SHS) programme, rather insisting the policy is “here to stay”.

According to him, the Free SHS programme is underpinned and guaranteed by the 1992 Constitution of Ghana and therefore cannot be overturned by any government.
