Death, they say is inevitable as no one knows when he or she would be called to finally meet his or her maker.
Yesternight, August 18, 2019, the inhabitants of Kumasi in the Ashanti regional metropolis were taken aback after hearing the unexpected demise of Nana Fodour who happened to be the Asamponhene of Kumasi.
YEN.com.gh has however gathered some interesting facts about the late Chief who met his untimely death at the hand of assailants.

1. Cause of Death
Nana Fodour who happened to be the Asamponhene of Kumasi didn’t die a natural death , as he was murdered by unknown assailants in his vehicle for reasons yet to be unravelled.
2. Place of death
Nana Fodour was found dead in his vehicle on the Ejura to Nkoranza during the late hours of Sunday, August 18, 2019.
3. Businessman
The chief had a passion for business, as he owned X-5, one of the most popular pubs in Kumasi metropolis and other businesses which include Sikka FM.
4. Blood ties
The deceased was a direct relative of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. As the Asamponhene of Kumasi, his role was to lead war for the Asantehene.
5. Investigations
Preliminary investigations have it that his murder was related to a chieftaincy dispute

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the owner of Kumasi-based Sikka FM, Nana Fodour, had been killed.
Nana Fodour, according to a report seen by YEN.com.gh on graphic.com.gh, was shot by armed men on Sunday, August 18, 2019.
He was reportedly travelling alone on the Ejura-Nkoranza road when the unfortunate incident happened.
The lifeless body of Nana Fodour is currently at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi whereas police are working tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to book.
