Meet Boubou the artist who paints with boxing gloves and dumbbells (Video)

- An African artist, Boubou, has impressed renowned actor and wrestler, Dwayne Johnson with a piece of art created with boxing gloves and dumbbells.

- Johnson took to Twitter to express his surprise at the design and requested for another of him holding a glass tequila.

- Some people have however doubted Boubou's work as they see it as fake.

A Senegalese artist, Boubou has impressed United States-based actor and wrestler, Dwayne Johnson, with an art drawn with unusual objects.

Boubou has been captured in a video using dumbbells and boxing gloves to create images of people.

According to Boubou, art is freedom and he enjoys painting upside down because he believes it is quicker and easier.

His work caught Johnson, also known as The Rock’s attention and he referred to Boubou as an insanely talented artist.

He then requested for another work of art of him holding a glass of tequila.

Per a report by BBC News Africa, Boubou adds that some people are convinced he is crazy and others think his work is fake.

Harrison stated that Boubou's work is simply awesome.

Estacio added that it is simply amazing talent and skill.

Penick asked Boubou to love what he does because it is incredible.

To Beckford, it is simply great art and Boubou is very special.

Stanisclas also noted that Boubou is a uniquely talented artist.

Mab added that Boubou's work is phenomenal and he is talented.

In other news, Ghana would join 81 other countries to participate in the 45th WorldSkills Expo to be held at Kazan in Russia.

The event is a historic one for Ghana because it is the first time the country is participating at the event at the global level.

Information available shows that the 27-member Ghanaian team would leave for Russia on Monday, August 19, 2019 and return on Thursday, August 29, 2019
