Police arrest lady thief who attempted to rob a bank in Kumasi
- A video of a lady who was seen jumping through a window and getting arrested by police has surfaced online
- The lady was said to have attempted robbery at the Adum branch of Ecobank in Kumasi but failed
- She almost escaped when police officers and local security men swooped on her and arrested her on the spot
YEN.com.gh has come across a video that is trending on social media involving a suspected female robber.
In the video, she was seen jumping from a storey building through the window as she fell on the ground at the car park.

After getting on the ground, the lady looked around to see if no one was watching, then head for the gate.
Luck eluded her when the security man at post chased her with other policemen on guard giving some warning shots.
After opening the gate, the lady slipped and fell down as the security man grabbed her when she woke up to continue escaping.
According to the report, she attempted to rob from the Adum branch of Ecobank in Kumasi but could not succeed.

The video which has gone viral on social media came as a surprise to many users and Ghanaians who watched it.
They expressed amazement that it was a lady who tried robbing at a bank since it is male robbers that are often reported to engage in such criminal act.
Moreover, social media users trolled her as they claim she was too fat to run, a reason she was nabbed at the gate.
