Man busted for posing as soldier at Asomdwee Park

A man by name Oppong Morgan is in the grips of the Osu Police after he was arrested for wearing military attire at the Asomdwee Park.

According DailyGuide reports, he was arrested by WO1 Roland Adongo and WOII Awudu Ekomato after an informant spotted him.

The whistleblower, went ahead to report to some military men on guard duty at the Osu Castle on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

As at the time of his arrest, Morgan was fully dressed in military camouflage fatigue, sporting the 64 Infantry Regiment lanyard and the unit’s logo.

His responses to questions asked by the soldiers gave him out as one who hadn't gone through military training.

Upon further interrogation, he admitted that he was not a military personnel but had access to the uniform from a friend at Burma Camp.

In other news, YEN.com.gh has sighted a photograph of a woman who was hawking umbrellas being mercilessly beaten by the rains.

From the photo, she looked all drenched as if she had been standing under the open heavens for a very long time.

The interesting thing about the photo is that she could easily shield herself from the rain by simply using one of the umbrellas she was selling.
