Former Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways under the erstwhile President John Agyekum Kufuor administration, Alex Seidu Sofo has passed away

The death of Alex Seidu Sofo, who is also a former Member of Parliament (MP) for the then Damongo-Daboya Constituency, died on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at West Gonja District Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Until his demise, Alex Seidu was also a Chief from the Busunu Traditional Area (Chief Mfrawura) and is a native from Busunu in the current Savannah Region.

Funeral arranges will later be communicated by the family when they are ready
YEN.com.gh also reported that former Trade and Industry under the Kufour administration, Joe Baidoe-Ansah has lost his wife, Mrs. Theresa Baidoe-Ansah.
A statement signed by the chairman of the funeral planning committee at Parliament, Mr Fritz Baffour and sighted by YEN.com.gh stated that the sad event occurred on December 25, 2019.

Little information was given about the cause of death but the statement added that the final funeral rites of the spouse of the former MP for Kwesimintsim constituency in the Western region would be announced later.
Joe Baidoe-Ansah was also a former Minister for Aviation under the Kufour administration.
