Unlike some female Ghanaian celebrities, actress Kisa Gbekle hardly dominates headlines for making outlandish remarks or stripping naked to gain a short-lived attention but rather enables her creativity to keep her in-demand.
In June 2019, Kisa made headlines when it was alleged that she was in a love-up relationship with Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, following his break-up with his long-time baby momma, Michy.
The two sparked speculations after they splashed each other’s images on their individual social media handles and followed up to respond to each other’s posts in a manner many considered too suggestive.
In an interview with graphic showbiz in June 2019, Kisa seemingly denied the speculations that she had taken over Michy’s place after her relationship with Shatta Wale hit the rocks.
''I do not have an answer to that as to whether we are dating or have dated or anything like that but all I can say is that, we are friends, he is like a brother to me and that is it,'' Kisa told graphic showbiz when she was asked about whether or not she was indeed dating Shatta Wale.
Fast forward in 2020, Kisa Gbekle recently marked her birthday in January 2020, and the actress shared a photo to celebrate herself.
Some of her celebrity friends including Moesha Buduong, Kalsoume Sinare, Afia Schwar and others in the entertainment industry took turns to wish her a blissful earth day.
