Linda Agyemang: Death of Accra Girls old student sparks sad tributes from friends & top journo

News of the death of Linda Maaabena Agyemang, an alumna of Accra Girls Senior High School has dominated social media timelines of some individuals including GHOne TV journalist Wilberforce Asare, following her demise.

Although details of what took the young ladies life are yet to emerge, sources confirm that ''she didn't wake up from her sleep''.

However, some colleagues of Maaabena Agyemang have already taken to social media to confirm her death along with emotional words of condolences.

GHOne TV journalist, Wilberforce Asare, personally posted photos to announce that Maaabena Agyemang had passed away.

The tone of Asare’s message indicated that he was utterly shattered by the death of his friend.

The 17th of January 2020 will forever remain one of the "bad news day" in my life. I say this because death laid its icy hands on my classmate, Linda Maaabena Agyemang.

Linda, your death has broken me deeply, your death has torn me apart, your death has indeed shaken me.

However, God is yet Faithful and He remains the only All Knowing One. As you join the ancestors by your rather peaceful exit from the land of the living, Rest Well and Rest Well.

May the Good Lord in his own unique way comfort your mother, we your classmates and everyone else who finds himself or herself in despair. Fare thee well sister,''Wilberforce Asare sadly wrote on Facebook.

Angela Afful Yeboah, also a member of All Old Girls of Accra Girls' Sec. School, home and abroad (GOSA) took to their Facebook page to announce her death.

Her post generated heart-breaking responses from some members who were completed shocked by the sad news.
