The winner of Di Asa 2019, PM, has revealed that she nearly died after she started a course to lose weight.
According to her, many people kept talking about her huge body size, and in a bid to listen and please them, she started taking pills to shed weight.
However, the pills had untold negative effects on her - affecting her heart, lungs, and other vital organs of her body.

Telling how it all started, PM said her friends always complained about her figure and left her behind when they were going out.
This made her feel inferior and so she decided to do something to please them, but never did she know that she was digging her own grave.
PM, known in private life as Precious Mensah, was speaking in an interview with Ghanaweb.com.

She reportedly said: “Unfortunately, anytime I take this drug, I feel pains in my heart. If I take it, I don’t feel okay but if I don’t take it, I feel okay… I took the drug and threw it into the bin,” she said
“I accepted (drug) because my friends always left me behind when going to ‘chill’, at that time I was so eager to lose weight so when he brought up the opinion I said yes,” PM revealed in the interview."
“They’ve got to know that it’s from their side, it’s part of them and it’s in their blood … so they have to embrace nature,” she said.
