A 31-year-old man from Hohoe in the Volta Region by the name Yusif Abubakar has gotten thousands of Ghanaians reacting after a story of a bet he took surfaced online.

As YEN.com.gh earlier reported, the fuel attendant took GHc 139k that belonged to his company and spent all on sports betting with the hope of doubling the amount.

He ended up losing the bet and got jailed for 15 years as a result because he could not return the company's money.
