Photos of Asantehene's daughter who is married to ex-Nigeria Veep Atiku Abubakar's son

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is one person who is very popular but has kept his family on the low.

While he has always been known as a family man, details and the identities of his children had not been publicly known.

It was only quite recently that photos of his young son and daughter with his current wife, Lady Julia Osei Tutu came up on social media.

Not long after, photos of an elderly daughter of Otumfuo Osei Tutu called Dr Caryn Agyeman Prempeh, a medical doctor who also works as a presenter on GHOne TV popped up.

Latest photos on social media sighted by YEN.com.gh suggest that Dr Agyeman Prempeh is not the only elderly daughter of Otumfuo.

According to the popular Instagram blog, @sweet_maame_adwoa, the Asantehene has another grown-up daughter called Nana Akyiaa Bonsu.

Nana Akyiaa is married to Aminu Abubakar, a son of former Nigeria Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, who lost in his presidential bid in the 2019 Nigeria elections.

Checks by YEN.com.gh indicate that Akyiaa and Aminu got married in a plush wedding in April 2016.

The traditional wedding was held at the Asantehene's Manhyia Palace in Kumasi with the white wedding being held at Kempinski.

And the former Nigerian Veep was impressed with the hospitality Otumfuo gave him during the wedding of their children.

Looking at the photos of Nana Akyiaa, she looks like Dr Agyeman Prempeh.

Talking of weddings, the wedding of Osei Kwame Despite's son, Kennedy Osei, dubbed #Kency2020, has been widely hailed as the biggest and most expensive wedding in Ghana.

However, a blogger has challenged those assertions citing the wedding of one Henry Fitz and Dela, dubbed #Hendee19, as the biggest rather.

To prove the claim, the blog has shared videos of the venue and decor for Hendee19 which is said to have cost $160,000 (GHC850,000)
