Komla Dumor, Kaba & 5 radio presenters whose deaths broke the hearts of Ghanaians
For some time now, the Ghanaian media industry has been plunged into darkness following the death of radio presenters.

On Thursday, June 4, 2020, Neat FM presenter Kwadwo Wiafe was confirmed dead and the said news got many people stunned.
Kwadwo Wiafe thus becomes the latest Ghanaian radio presenter to die at a young age.

YEN.com.gh has thus put together 7 popular radio presenters whose deaths shook the foundation of the country.
1. Komla Dumor:
Komla was a Ghanaian journalist who worked for BBC World News and was the main presenter of its programme Focus on Africa.
The former Joy FM morning show host died on January 18, 2014, after a cardiac arrest in the United Kingdom.
2. Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (KABA):
KABA was the host of Asempa FM's afternoon political show Ekosii Sen?
The renowned presenter died on November 17, 2017, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

3. Kwadwo Wiafe:
Kwadwo Wiafe is the latest Ghanaian radio presenter to be confirmed dead. The vibrant presenter and MC passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020, after a short illness.
Before his demise, he was working with Accra-based Neat FM.
4. Christopher Opoku:
The renowned sports presenter's death broke the hearts of many Ghanaians.
Opoku died in 2017 after battling cancer for almost five years.
5. Mufti Dabre:
Mufti was one of the best radio presenters in the country. He died on June 21, 2007.
Mufti who featured in popular TV series Taxi Driver worked with Peace FM
6. Badala Hassan:
Badala Hassan's death came as a surprise to many as he died a few hours to his maiden show.
He reportedly fell down and fainted on Thursday, September 12, 2019.
Hassan was with Kumasi-based Adehyie FM when he died.
7. DJ Seihor:

The popular DJ died on November 4, 2019, through a motor accident on the Madina-Adentan road.
He was reportedly travelling on a motorbike without a helmet when the unfortunate incident happened.
DJ Seihor was with Accra-based Kasapa FM.
