RE: Apology to Pastor Brian Amoateng over publication dated April 19, 2020
On Sunday, April 19, 2020, a publication with the headline ''Afia Schwarzenegger to massively 'expose' Pastor Amoateng amid cheating claims against Akua GMB'' was attributed to Ghanaian UK based Pastor Brian Amoateng.

In the publication, the source was attributed to a video on the Facebook page of Ghanaian media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, with the caption: ''Pastor Amoateng and his fleet of slay Queen aka celebrity girlfriends and the 3somes.''
Afia Schwarzenegger had alleged in a previous post on social media that Dr Kwaku Oteng had dumped his fourth wife, Sally Akua Amoakowaa, better known as Akua GMB, after he caught her cheating.
YEN.com.gh, in an earlier report indicated that Afia Schwar named ‘‘Pastor Amoateng’’ as having an affair with Akua GMB.
While the footage shared by Afia Schwarzenegger makes no mention of Pastor Brian Amoateng, YEN.com.gh linked the video to the renowned man of God and also used his image without his notice or consent.
However, the story was subsequently edited after the editor responsible for the story noticed that the video shared by Afia Schwarzenegger captioned and mentioned ''Pastor Amoateng'' and not ‘‘Pastor Brian Amoateng’’.
This, however, does not lessen the damage that the earlier story which attributed the empty claims by Afia Schwarzenegger in the video to the man of God, who for years has been working tirelessly to impact lives especially that of the youth.
YEN.com.gh, hereby, issue an unqualified apology to Pastor Brian Amoateng for any damage(s) caused to his persona, personality and reputation.
And also render an unqualified apology for any psychological and emotional trauma the publication may have caused him.
