UDS admission list: check your 2019/2020 admission status
So you've already applied for a spot at the University for Development Studies (UDS. It must be a great relief to find out that your long wait has finally come to an end. The management of the university has already released the list of all the applicants who have successfully gotten in. The list contains all the accepted applicants for all the programs provided at the school. But do you know how to check if your name is on the UDS admission list?

The University for Development Studies is an excellent institution that everyone wishes they could attend. It is the first public university in Ghana in the North. It was established in May 1992, began its academic work in September 1993, and has only grown since then. A testament to its growth is visible in the number of students it has admitted. In 1993, the first batch contained only 40 students, and now, the student population is almost 20,000. This number is set to grow since the UDS admission list for the 2019/2020 academic year has already been released.
How to check University for Development Studies admission list
The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The programmes are also available for both Ghanian citizens and foreign applicants. The admission process is different for the students in each of these categories.
However, after the university has done its screening, all the admitted students are found on one list. It is also important to remember that the list comes in batches, therefore don't lose hope if you don't see your name in the first list.

1. Go to the UDS admission portal

This is the portal where you submitted your application. You can access the portal by going through the university's website. You could also Google the portal, and you will find it.
2. Log in using your credentials
The credentials you use should be the same ones you put in when you created your account. It could be either your academic ID, or your name, or even your email address together with your password.
3. Select your category
Since there are a lot of names on the list, scrolling through all of them is not a smart idea. You could search for your category first to narrow down the list and then move from there. Click on your category to get a full list of successful applicants. You can now search for your name among them.

Getting your admission letter

If you find your name on the undergraduate admission list, the next step is to print your admission letter and prepare for when you go to school. The admission letter is significant as it contains all the details about the course you are going to take.
The details include the course and the instructions that you will be required to meet on the date of admission. After finding your name on the list, you can find the admission letter by clicking on your name. You will be able to view your admission letter and print it from there. The university also advises any students who are admitted to pay their fees immediately so that they do not lose their spot to another student.
You should also check the re-opening date of the first semester of school so that you can register and pay your fee on time. It is also for this reason why you should know about the UDS school fee schedule.
