73% of Ghanaians prefer Prof Naana Agyemang as a Veep to Bawumia

Majority of Ghanaians have voted for the running mate of John Dramani Mahama, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to be a more competent Vice President for Ghana.
According to the poll put out by YEN.com.gh, 73% of Ghanaians who participated think Prof. Opoku Agyemang will do a better job as Vice President of the Republic compared to what the incumbent Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is doing.
Ghana goes to the polls on December 7, 2020, to elect a president and parliamentarians.

The two main political parties campaigning for power in the 2020 elections are the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the biggest opposition, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NPP is presenting Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on their presidential ticket. The NDC has John Dramani Mahama and Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang on their ticket.
Participants in the YEN.com.gh poll gave various interesting reasons why they believe NDC’s Prof. Opoku Agyemang will do a better job as Veep as compared to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) must win more than 30 percent of the votes in the Ashanti region to be able to claim power from the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), according to pollster, Ben Ephson.
According to the respected pollster, the Ashanti region remains a huge battleground for the opposition party to conquer.
Mr. Ephson opined that if the NDC is able to get over 30 percent of the votes in the Ashanti region it would have gone a long way in winning the 2020 elections.
