Ghanaian actress Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has spoken for the first time after a bedroom video reported hers leaked online.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, an unnamed lady popped up on social media claiming that she is in possession of a damaging video of Poloo.
In a video making rounds on social media, the lady claimed that she had a copy of the said video.
According to her, Akuapem Poloo was in bed with the man and they had many bouts of intimacy in what looked like a small room.
Later, a video of an unclad lady whose body and voice is similar to that of Poloo popped up on social media.
While she was not seen with a man as earlier claimed, the emergence of the video lends credence to the lady's claim.
Amid her troubles, Poloo has come to Instagram to share a new photo; in the photo, the actress is seen nicely dressed and smiling at an event.
Captioning the photo, Akuapem Poloo brushed off the incident and encouraged herself to keep smiling because the future is bright.
"KEEP SMILING ROSEMOND ALADE DO YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT. #goodmorning," she wrote.
The latest trouble of Akuapem Poloo comes barely three months after she was picked up by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) over her controversial birthday photo with her son.
As reported by YEN.com.gh, Akuapem Poloo, was sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) around the Ministries in Accra.
The arrest was in connection with photos of herself and her son which she shared on social media in celebration of her birthday in July while many thought was indecent
While Poloo thought the photo was an artistic impression and had nothing to do with indecent exposure, it sparked outrage on social media and led to a massive debate as to whether she had done the right thing.
After the post went viral, it was reported that Child Rights International petitioned the CID to act over the matter since Akuapem Poloo had violated some laws and also breached some sections of the Child Act.
