"Bonsam boys": 4 young men arrested for stealing church instruments

- Some four young men have been arrested in connection with theft reported in 2 churches

- The suspected thieves were accosted when they tried selling off the stolen equipment

- According to the police, the young men would be arraigned before court on January 15, 2021

The Akyem Ofoase Police in the Eastern Region has arrested four young men over the alleged theft of church instruments from two different church premises.

In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on myjoyonline.com, the young men stormed The Assemblies of Church and Open Bible Church, both in Akyem Ofoase to commit the illegal act.

As fate would have it, the suspects, suspects Kofi Adu 30, Stephen Frimpong 27, Anane Blabo 25, and Bismarck Adu, were accosted and arrested after they were questioned by some people.

According to the police, the four suspects broke into church auditoriums and stole the electronic keyboards and amplifiers.

The Akyemansa District Police Commander, DSP Ransford Nsiah, who confirmed the news to media men, said the suspects were arrested while trying to sell the goods.

The police revealed that the young men took the stolen goods to Akyem Oda to sell but their luck run out and it led to their arrest as some residents accosted them and reported them to the law enforcement agency

They have since been arraigned before court as their case would be heard on Friday, January 15, 2021, and their fates decided.

Moving to the area of politics, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, has said in a recent interview that John Dramani Mahama will never be president of Ghana again.

In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on pulse.com.gh, Akua Donkor said the National Democratic Congress leader will not be president again because she had cursed the NDC leader for neglecting her.
