The spokesperson of the Nae-We traditional court of Accra, Jamestown, Nii Quaye, has accused Ghanaian singer, Mzbel, of defaming the Ga gods.
He said Mzbel has made unwarranted comments about the gods and for that matter, she is in their bad books.
Nii Quaye was speaking in an interview monitored by YEN.com.gh on Hitz FM on the morning of Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Mzbel said on the United Showbiz programme hosted by Nana Ama McBrown and monitored by YEN.com.gh last Saturday that she was disappointed in the way the traditional court handled a case she sent to them.
She had dragged her former best friend, Afia Schwarzenegger, to the court for constantly attacking and disgracing her.
Mzbel said after she paid the money required of her, the time given by the court to handle the matter had elapsed without any results.
For this reason, she believes the court is a fraud and not worthy to be relied on for justice.
However, Nii Quaye has chastised Mzbel over the comments describing them as unfortunate and one that can make the gods come at her.
He said the gods do not take it lightly if anyone tries to tarnish their image as Mzbel has done.
The spokesperson added that the only solution now is for Mzbel to humble herself, retract her statement, and apologise to the gods.
Otherwise, Nii Quaye says the worst can happen to the 16 years hitmaker.
Mzbel took the decision to go to the court after the most recent social media fight she had with Afia Schwar.
Afia Schwar had said Mzbel has body odour, and it is for this reason she finds it difficult to maintain a relationship with the singer.
She also claimed that Mzbel begged her to sleep with her former love, Kofi Amoabeng, in order to help her raise money, but she Afia refused.
